Lincoln Drive Trail Hike

Register at https://tinyurl.com/34dmyh6r

Let’s go #onthecircuit & hike along Lincoln Drive. The trail goes to the waterfall across from the Wissahickon Transportation Center. The path is paved, but a few inclines come and go. I recommend a walking stick for support. One from a mop or broom, or even a cane works fine.

The complete loop is 3 miles, but no lady left behind. They’ll be loop & scoop points if you don’t want to go the entire distance.

Meet at Rittenhouse St. & Wissahickon Ave. Park on Rittenhouse down from Sunoco Station. Look for the brown Parks & Rec marker that says, Saylor Grove.  We start promptly at 10 am. ”Early is on time.” #GirlTrek #HealingThroughTheLand #CouchTo5K

Cresheim Trail Scouting Outing Part 2 #onthecircuit

Any adventurers available to explore some beauty & serenity on Friday, 8/29 at 10 am? Join Nicole & me in scouting Cresheim Valley Trail for future meetups. It’s a MODERATELY DIFFICULT hike, but we’ll go slow. No lady left behind. Some inclines & rugged areas. WEAR boots, or waterproof shoes & long pants. Bring a stick & water. This time, we’re meeting #onthecircuit at the 6500 Park Line Drive Trailhead near the Walnut Lane Bridge.

We Hike the Trolley Trail #onthecircuit

We Walk PHL is for everyone! It's more than just a walk in the park. It's an experience! We Walk PHL seeks to promote positive health outcomes, increase the use of Philadelphia’s Park system, and create opportunities for people to pursue fitness goals, educational adventures & wellness experiences while meeting their neighbors.

We are walking to build strength and endurance  while getting some historical context on the Trolley Trail in preparation for the Boxer’s Trail 5k and over all wellbeing. This walk will be facilitated  by Kevin Roche, Chief of Staff at Fairmount Park Conservancy. Plenty of free parking in the parking lot and a porta-potty on the premises
